“Would not recommend, this companies machines are poorly maintained, the micro diggers constantly tracked out while using them in narrow alleyways, the books and buckets have very bad play and all the pins are worn out. Aside from this the manager is also excessively aggressive and his employees less than useful with the memory of a goldfish. On August the 4th I hired a digger for the last time with this company, I informed them it was a single day hire, they still took a full week's hire and stated they would knock the credit off of the next hire. Booked another digger for today and requested my credit be applied, they stated the had applied the credit which I knew to be false. One week's hire is £206 Inc VAT. There's rates are: Single day 60% Two days 80% Three - five days 100% They had initially tried to charge me £206 again which I disputed, they amended it to a single day £123 meaning they hadn't applied my credit £83. When I pointed out their obvious lies the manager became very aggressive towards me, stating the only reason he wasn't shouting is so the customers on the phones wouldn't hear him. I was then refused a digger at all, for their errors not mine and told to go elsewhere. I have used this company numerous times over the years and it has never been a good experience. I will be informing other companies and will also be going to my bank and trading standards to reclaim my overpayment to them. Avoid at all costs! Wee Edit since they want to be wise :) Firstly I have multiple receipts from this year when I hired their machines 🙈 so don't try and lie about it being a one off hire, let me just give the date of 14th July, hired a micro digger. So either my records are far better than yours or you know your liars 🤷🏻 Also I watched your employee (who by the way claimed to have no recollection of me, then later admitted to knowing me) write down the credit due in his diary. Or rather pretending to. Now let's get to the "we offered" you offered nothing except £123 for a day (the standard rate) , you tried to charge a full weeks hire for a day, then kicked up a fuss because I refused to be robbed (again) It quite clearly states your hire rates as 1 day, 2 days, 3 days or a week on your website with the pricing, again your caught in a lie 🤥 Insurance, irrelevant, you offer insurance with your hires at an additional cost. Something I've always been happy to pay. Either that or I could add it to my own insurance for peanut's. And lastly your equipment is not well maintained, all bushes on the boom were worn, the seatbelt was missing and the tracks would expand on their own, potentially causing damage in a narrow space or while loading/off loading.”
